Aerolíneas has Confirmed the Departure of a Flight to Moscow

March 17, 2021 – Aerolíneas Argentinas has confirmed that the seventh flight to the city of Moscow will depart tomorrow

at 1:05 to bring more doses of the Sputnik V vaccine.

Flight AR1060 will cover the route directly and remain in Moscow for around 4 hours for stowage. Its return to the Ezeiza international airport will take

place on Friday March 19, at 3 p.m., under flight number AR 1061.

In the aggregate, there will be 40 hours of operation, which includes the 16-hour flight to the Sheremetyevo airport, the stowage

process and the nearly 18-hour flight back from Moscow to Buenos Aires.

We should remember that Aerolíneas Argentinas started flying to Moscow at the end of December. The first two flights brought 600,000 doses of Sputnik V

into the country, while the third brought 220,000 doses. The fourth flight brought 400,000 new doses. Then, 904,000 doses arrived from the People’s Republic

of China, and later came our fifth flight to Russia, which carried 517,000 doses. Lastly, the sixth flight brought 732,000 doses into the country from Moscow.

That is to say, that the flag carrier has, up to now, brought 3,374,000 doses of vaccines into our country.
