Aerolíneas Argentinas confirms two special flights to Madrid

June 24, 2020 – Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced two new special flights to Madrid departing on July 15 and 29.

On their outbound segments, these new flights are authorized to carry both Spanish citizens and passengers holding an EU passport with connecting flights to other destinations within 24 hours after the arrival of the flight at Barajas Airport.

Each aircraft is authorized to carry 125 passengers on its outbound segment and 243 Argentine citizens on its return flight.

It is important to highlight that the first flight authorized to carry US citizens on its outbound segment will depart to Miami tomorrow. On the other hand, two flights will depart to Madrid on June 27 and 30.

In the aggregate, the Company has operated 103 special international flights, and more than 27,000 Argentine citizens were able to return to the country. In the same vein, 4,200 residents of other countries have been able to return to their homes since this option became available in mid-April.  Additionally, the Company has operated 116 special domestic flights.
