Aerolíneas Argentinas announces its first special repatriation flight

March 14, 2020 –  Aerolíneas Argentinas announced its first special repatriation flight. AR1305 flight will depart on March 18, at 6.40 PM from Miami airport to Buenos Aires, so as comply with the goal set by the Executive Branch of Government of taking back the Argentine people who have not been able to return before the cancellation of flights to Europe and the United States.

It should be reminded that the Argentine flag carrier is the only Company authorized to make special flights to risk zones.

“As the Argentine flag carrier, we undertake this commitment as part of our social role. In a complex global scenario, we need to rise to the occasion”, explained Pablo Ceriani, President of Aerolíneas Argentinas.

“We are working to the utmost of our capacity in the operations and customer service areas. The commitment is really strong at all sectors and levels of the company”, added Ceriani.

Aerolíneas Argentinas Airbus 330 – 200 with a capacity of 270 seats shall depart from Buenos Aires the same Wednesday at 8.30 AM, and it forms part of the special operation on which the Company is working.

Aerolíneas current fleet is of 10 Airbus 330-200 aircraft, which will be exclusively dedicated to make the special flights planned by the company after international flights are actually cancelled on a temporary basis as a result of the Executive Decree signed by the President of the Nation.
