In a press interview, Pablo Ceriani, President of Aerolíneas Argentinas referred to the situation of the flights in the light of the cancellation of international operations ordered by the Executive Branch of Government:
“Until March 16, flights will be operating as planned and, with the purpose of taking back the highest number of Argentine people possible. As from Tuesday, and as we are the only Company authorized to operate, Aerolíneas Argentinas is planning how special flights will be carried out to take back to Argentina all people who, for any reason, could not yet return.”
“We have made new customer service channels available, such as the WhatsApp line and our offices abroad are tireslessly working so that we can give an answer to all those Argentine people who need to solve their situation.”
“I want to congratulate all the staff at Aerolíneas on the effort they are contributing to this objective… the commitment is absolute.”
“At present we are talking with other companies to start special operations and give an answer to the passengers who do not have a flight with Aerolineas Argentinas and who would not be able to return with the tickets they have with other companies, unless they manage to do so before March 16.”
