Important information on Aerolíneas Argentinas operations

13/03/2020

March 13, 2020 – Aerolíneas Argentinas informs that, in line with what has been decided by the Executive Branch of Government, the company shall carry on its flights to the so-called “risk zones” up to March 16:

•          4 flights to Madrid, on March 13, 14, 15 and 16 with their corresponding return flights of the following day.

•          3 flights to Rome, on March 13, 15 and 16 with their corresponding return flights of the following day.

•          9 flights to Miami, on March 13, 14, 15 and 16. In case of daytime flights, they return on the same day. Night flights return on the following day.

•          3 flights to New York, on March 13, 15 and 16 and their corresponding return flights of the following day.

The flight to and from Orlando scheduled for March 14 returning on the following day has been cancelled.

It is important to highlight that after March 16, all scheduled flights to Europe and United States destinations are cancelled. The company is tirelessly working to design an exceptional scheduling for those passengers who still are located at risk zones and who have not returned by that date. This schedule will be announced once the relevant case analysis has been conducted for each of the destinations.

The Company is also working with the rest of the airlines to address the situation of those passengers who have not returned before the international flights are cancelled, so that they may do so in the best way possible through the Argentine flag carrier.

Finally we would like to inform that commercial policies have been updated, and passengers with return flights scheduled up to June 30 may change their reservation or return their tickets without penalties or having to pay the applicable difference in fare (this applies to flights from Europe and the United States).

Aerolíneas Argentinas has set up a new customer service channel via WhatsApp (+54 9 11  4940 4798)  to address issues raised by passengers with reservations to the affected zones. Accordingly, Argentine and foreign sales offices are providing attention to customers. Line 0810-222-86527 is also available for this end.
