These cancellations are part of a dynamic adjustment of the operation carried out by the company due to the growing number of cancellation requests or changes to already issued bookings.

The company has set up a new 24/7 customer service channel via WhatsApp to only address issues raised by passengers with reservations to or from China, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Israel and the United States.

Passengers may call at +54 9 1149404798 and inform the reservation code, the destination and the date of the flight in order to speed up the assistance provided and efficiently address each request.

Furthermore, the offices of Aerolíneas Argentinas located abroad are working to provide assistance to all Argentine passengers wishing to change their reservations to return to the country.

As regards prevention measures, every time that the protocol to address potential cases of coronavirus is activated, the company cleans its aircraft with special products. Such sanitization is performed with special products and equipment, pursuant to the protocols laid down by health authorities. Additionally, after each flight, all aircraft are sanitized with wide-scope chemical products for aviation use.

Aerolíneas Argentinas aircraft have an air conditioning system with special high-efficiency particulate air filters (HEPA) which allow for the frequent renewal of the air in the cabin, and also capture particles of different sizes, including viruses, reducing the likelihood of transmission of the virus.

It is worth mentioning that crew members will go on distributing sworn statements (pursuant to the protocol implemented by the Border Health Authorities). Aerolíneas Argentinas’ on-board staff will conduct the first screening based upon the information disclosed in the sworn statement. Then, such sworn statements will be submitted to the health authorities so that preventive protocols may be activated.

Passengers may check the commercial policy applied to flights.
