Aerolíneas Argentinas, at the podium of the most punctual companies

The company ranked third in FlightStats’ regional punctuality ranking, and fourth in the global ranking.

July 10, 2018 – Aerolíneas Argentinas and Austral, both members of Aerolíneas Group, ranked third in FlightStats’ regional punctuality ranking for June.

It is worth noting that, if the company is compared with the rest of global companies, Aerolíneas Argentinas would rank fourth in the global ranking.

Pursuant to the report, Aerolíneas Argentinas, with a punctuality of 85% and a total of 9,744 monitored flights, ranked third in the Great Operator category, sharing the position with Copa Airlines and Azul.

Austral hit a punctuality rate of 86.24% with a total of 4,011 monitored flights, ranking third in its category, right behind LATAM Ecuador and the Caribbean company LIAT, and ahead of VivaColombia and LATAM Chile.

In June, Aerolíneas Argentinas’ punctuality averaged 89% for its entire network. The difference between the figures reported by the company and the FlightStats ranking is based on the fact that Aerolíneas takes into consideration 100% of its operations, while the company specializing in aviation statistics analyzed 98% of the company’s operations.

During H1, pursuant to the flag carrier’s reports, punctuality averaged 88%, 4 points above the scheduled target. Similarly, punctuality increased by 1.5% with respect to the results for the same period of 2017.
