During June, punctuality reached an average of 89% and cancellations dropped by 13% compared to the same month of the previous year.
Buenos Aires, July 6, 2018.- At the end of June, Aerolíneas Argentinas hit an outstanding 89% punctuality record for the 9,186 segments flown during the month, including domestic, regional and international flights.
During the whole month, the flag carrier logged 192 cancellations, most of which were due to the general strike on June 25 and the fog affecting Aeroparque on June 30. These figures translate into a completion factor of 98%, while the accumulated completion factor for the January-June period of this year is 99.1%.
During H1, punctuality averaged 88%, 4 points above the scheduled target. Similarly, punctuality increased by 1.5% with respect to the results for the same period of 2017.
It is worth noting that, pursuant to the calculations performed by Flighstats in April 2018, the company ranked in the top 3 most punctual companies in the world.
