“One of the main challenges of Aerolíneas Argentinas is that more Argentine people travel by plane. To that end, we plan routes efficiently and with the most convenient time schedules. Focused in this challenge, the company presented the fifth Boeing 737-MAX8, which closed the first stage of the company’s fleet renewal. From a federal point of view, the offer for the winter season boosts connectivity between the most important cities of the country and the most popular holiday destinations of Argentina and the region,” stated Mario Dell’Acqua, President of Aerolíneas group.

Between January and June of this year, the most popular destinations were: the City of Buenos Aires, the Province of Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza, Bariloche, Neuquén, Ushuaia, Salta, El Calafate, Tucumán, Comodoro Rivadavia, Iguazú, Santiago de Chile, Río de Janeiro, and Bahía Blanca.

Furthermore, the amount of passengers carried during H1 2018 hit 6,369,521, i.e., 2.5% more than during the same period of the previous year.
