As an alternative, during the time these airports are closed flights will operate to and from Foz do Iguacu y de San Salvador de Jujuy, respectively.
Buenos Aires, February 03, 2018. Aerolineas Argentinas announces that due to the closure of the airports in Salta and Iguazú it will modify its regularly scheduled operations to and from these airports.
IGUAZU
Due to the Puerto Iguazú, Missions, airport being closed for repairs, regularly scheduled flight operations will be modified.
Between April 15, 2018 and May 15, 2018 Aerolineas Argentinas will operate three flights, Monday to Friday, between Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airport and the Foz do Iguaca (IATA code: IGU) International Airport. On Saturdays and Sundays there will be four flights. All flights will be operated using planes with 170 seats. Also, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays one flight will operate between Ezeiza Ministro Pisterini International Airport and the Foz do Iguacu airport.
With regards to the flights between Iguazú and Salta, they will operate Mondays, Wednedays and Fridays. But, being the Martin de Guemes Airport in Salta will also be closed for repairs (between April 15, 2018 and May 06, 2018) the flights will operate to and from Gobernador Horacio Guzman Airport in San Salvador de Jujuy. Flights between Iguazú and Rosario will operate four days a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.(??) These flights be will operate using planes with 96 seats.
Flights between Iguazú and Cordoba will be suspended during the airport closure.
SALTA
Due to the closure of the Martin Miguel de Güemes Airport in Salta, Aerolineas Argentinas will change regularly scheduled flights to and from said city.
Between April 15, 2018 and May 06, 2018 at 00.00 am. Aerolineas Argentinas will operate seven flights Mondays to Fridays and six flights on Saturday and Sunday between Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airprot and Gobernador Horacio Guzman Airport in San Salvador de Jujuy (IATA code: JUJ). There will also be one flight a day between the Ezeiza Ministro Pisterini International Airport and the airport in Jujuy.
The flights between Salta and Cordoba will operate between Jujuy and Cordoba. Likewise, the three weekly flights between Salta and Iguazú will operate to/from Foz de Iguazú (IATA code: IGU), being the Iguazú International Airport (IATA code: IGR) will also be closed for repairs.
Flights between Salta and Mendoza will be suspended during the airport closure. Passengers that want to fly to or from Mendoza can do so via Cordoba.
