Aerolíneas Argentinas to carry Boca, River, Racing and Tigre throughout the first stage of the Libertadores Cup

September 15, 2020 – There will be 12 charter flights in which River, BocaRacing and Tigre will travel to Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, where the matches of the first stage of the Libertadores Cup will be played.

The Argentine flag carrier concluded a charter flight agreement with the abovementioned Argentine football clubs, which entails substantial revenue for the company and thus allows it to recover a market that had been lost years ago.

The flights are scheduled to depart from Ezeiza International Airport to Asunción, São Paulo, Lima and Montevideo. The first charter flight, which will carry Tigre football club, will depart tomorrow, September 16, at 3 p.m. to Asunción, Paraguay. Then, at 5.30 p.m., River Plate will be departing to São Paulo, Brazil, and lastly, at 7 p.m., a flight carrying Boca Juniors will also depart to Asunción, Paraguay.

The next charter flight will be operated on September 21 and will carry the River Plate team to Lima, Peru. On September 22, Racing will fly to the same destination. Finally, on September 23, Boca will travel to Montevideo, Uruguay.

Aerolíneas Argentinas has implemented health protocols and hygiene measures in every stage of its flights, both aairports and in-flight. All procedures were designed following the recommendations of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Airports Council International (ACI), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Argentine Ministry of Health.
