September 7, 2020 – On the occasion of its 70th anniversary, Aerolíneas Argentinas presented its retro designed and colored aircraft in a new institutional video.

The aircraft, a Boeing 737 NG, was painted in the workshops of FADEA (Argentine Aircraft Factory), located in the Province of Córdoba, and such work entailed no extra cost since a trade credit  was used with which painting jobs will also be performed on another 6 aircraft.

It is important to highlight that at the beginning of the year Aerolíneas Argentinas launched a commemorative logo for its 70th anniversary. This is in addition to the campaign the Company is conducting on social media which includes texts by writer Eduardo Galeano and the participation of actor Leonardo Sbaraglia and musician Gustavo Santaolalla.

“We are backed by a long corporate history with many milestones and a global reputation in terms of innovation, quality and safety. This initiative is related to that idea. We must work for the future of the Company, knowing that there is a story behind us that encourages us to rise to the occasion at all times,” explained Pablo Ceriani, President of Aerolíneas Argentinas.

The aircraft is expected to arrive in Buenos Aires towards the end of the week, which has already caused great excitement among photographers and commercial aviation fans.

This initiative is part of a tradition in the aviation industry, and many companies around the world have one or two aircraft with iconic designs. In terms of marketing and brand presence, these initiatives prove effective since the pictures taken by passengers and aviation fans often go viral.
