Aerolineas adds 3 new special flights, now being 35

March 21, 2020 – Aerolíneas Argentinas announced three new special flights from Brazil: 2 additional flights from Rio de Janeiro scheduled to depart today at 11.30 AM and 12.00 PM and a new flight from San Salvador de Bahía (operated by Austral Líneas Aéreas) scheduled to depart at 12.30 PM to Ezeiza international airport.

Today 10 flights operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas will arrive to the country taking 2000 Argentine people back from Madrid, Miami, Punta Cana, San Pablo, Rio de Janeiro, San Salvador de Bahía, Lima and Bogotá.

For today, the Company has scheduled the first of its 7 special flights from Lima. Flights are conditioned to the authorization of the Peruvian authorities. Said flights will allow the return of a large number of Argentine people who have contacted Aerolíneas Argentinas after the massive flight cancellation of other companies. It is worth mentioning that Peruvian citizens may return to their country in some of our flights.

Finally, Aerolíneas Argentinas is implementing a special scheduling of domestic flights. Said schedule is intended to guarantee the connectivity within the country in the light of the shutdown of regular operations in place between March 20 and 31. A daily flight between Buenos Aires and Córdoba, Iguazú, Mendoza, Neuquén, Rio Gallegos, Tucumán and Ushuaia will be operated, as well as 3 weekly flights to Trelew and 4 flights to Comodoro Rivadavia.
