Beginning today and up to Thursday September 13, Aerolíneas Plus members can get discounts of up to 55% when redeeming miles to fly between September and December of this year. This offer includes, for instance, round-trips to Córdoba for 4,000 miles, or to Miami / Nueva York for 30,000 miles.
Buenos Aires, September, 6 2018.- In order to boost its frequent flyer program, and make more Argentine people able to fly, Aerolíneas Argentinas doubles down on the program. Now, it makes it available for Aerolíneas Plus members 100,000 tickets with discounts of up to 50% to redeem miles, and up to 55% for members with Aerolíneas Plus credit cards issued by the companies which are part of the program (to name a few: Garbarino, Compumundo, Paseo Alcorta, Alto Palermo, Alto Rosario, Alto NOA, YPF, American Express, Sancor Seguros, Macro Premia, among others).
The 100,000 seat shall be available for redemption in all domestic and international destinations network to fly between September and December. With this offer, which turns flying into a more affordable experience, the only doubt you may have is “where to”. Among the most popular redemption destinations, we can mention (round-trip):
· Córdoba for 4,000 miles,
· Mendoza for 6,000 miles,
· Miami / Nueva York for 30,000 miles, or
· Cancún / Punta Cana for 26,000 miles.
Members with miles may redeem them for tickets for their beneficiaries nominated in the Aerolíneas Plus account. Up to 10 beneficiaries can be nominated per calendar year, and there is no need for the beneficiaries to have any kind of family tie with the member. They are eligible for award tickets and they do not need to travel with the member.
In addition, it is worth highlighting that those members who do not have enough miles to get an award ticket may buy up to 120,000 miles per calendar year. The transfer of miles between Aerolíneas Plus members is also an option. In both cases, the costs of said transactions can be paid in up to 12 installments with zero interest, through more than 30 banks.
Members of the program also have exclusive benefits to acquire optional products to improve their travel experience, such as a discount to get additional baggage.
For all those who still do not have enough miles and want to take advantage from these offers in the future, please remember that the program offers a multiplicity of options to accumulate miles through the acquisition of household electrical appliances and other products in Garbarino or Compumundo, when purchasing fuel in all YPF stations, etc.
