Aerolíneas Argentinas launches operations from Córdoba to Punta Cana

25/08/2018

Buenos Aires, August 25th, 2018 – With the departure of its AR1326 flight at 11:30 PM, Aerolíneas Argentinas began its operations between Córdoba and Punta Cana.

This route, operated with a Boeing 737 – MAX aircraft, will have one frequency per week and is an addition to the flight network of the Córdoba HUB. Thus, passengers from provinces such as Salta, Tucumán or Neuquén will be able to fly to the Caribbean more efficiently in terms of connection time, without stopping in Buenos Aires or having to travel from one airport to another.

Córdoba is one of the most important markets for Aerolíneas Argentinas, and a strategic connectivity node, since over 45% of passengers flying through federal routes do so via Córdoba. Frequencies to Salta, Jujuy, Posadas, Resistencia, Tucumán, Iguazú, Mendoza, Neuquén, Bariloche, Comodoro Rivadavia, Ushuaia and Mar del Plata are operated from this HUB.

It is worth mentioning that, as from September 18, Aerolíneas will also begin flight operations between Córdoba and Trelew, with 3 weekly frequencies.
