In July, Aerolíneas reached the highest punctuality record in the last ten years.

During July, punctuality reached an average of 86% and cancellations dropped by 59% compared to the same month of the previous year –the lowest since 2008.

 

Buenos Aires, August 3, 2018.- At the end of July, Aerolíneas Argentinas hit an 86% punctuality, the best record in the last ten years for that period, for the 10,633 segments flown, including domestic, regional and international flights.

During the whole month, the company logged 96 cancellations, 59% less than in July last year, and the lowest number of cancellations for that month since 2008. These figures translate into a completion factor of 99.1%, the same number of the accumulated completion factor for the January-June period of this year.

During the first seven months, punctuality averaged 88%. 4 points above the scheduled target. Similarly, punctuality increased by 3% if compared to the same period of 2017. In addition, in the same period, cancellations dropped by 48%, with a 3% increase in segments flown.

It is worth noting that, pursuant to the calculations performed by FlightStats in April 2018, the company ranked in the top 3 most punctual companies in the world.
