Aerolíneas Argentinas and Aeroflot launch ticket sales between Buenos Aires and Moscow

Air tickets can already be purchased under the new codeshare agreement between Aerolíneas Argentinas and Aeroflot.

Buenos Aires, May 31st, 2018 - Aerolíneas Argentinas and one of its SkyTeam alliance members, Aeroflot, launched to the market the sale of tickets in codeshare flights with new options for passengers.

The tickets are already available for Aerolíneas Argentinas flights to Madrid as from June 1 and will allow passengers to take connecting flights to Moscow. Similarly, passengers who begin their flight with Aeroflot will be able to take connecting flights with Aerolíneas Argentinas via Madrid.

It is to highlight that Aerolíneas Argentinas added 3 new weekly flights to the Spanish capital city besides the daily flight operated by the company. Such flights will begin to operate as from Saturday, June 2.

In anticipation of the FIFA World Cup that will take place in Russia between June 14 and July 15, the agreement is aimed at making it easier for passengers to take connecting flights to Russia’s inland territories and to enjoy Aeroflot’s vast domestic network that connects Moscow with important cities such as Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Samara and Nizhny Novgorod, among others.

“The purpose of these kind of agreements is to promote our network and expand the offer so that our passengers may connect with the rest of the world in a quick and simple manner”, expressed Mario Dell’Acqua, President of Aerolíneas Group.

Passengers will also benefit from improvements in their flight experience, since the entire itinerary will be issued in one ticket, thus offering fast connections with a single check-in at the airport of departure, baggage check-in to final destination, and accumulation of Aerolíneas Plus miles.

This agreement is in addition to the agreements already entered into with Aeroméxico, Air Europa, Air France, Air New Zealand, Alitalia, Delta Air Lines, El Al Israel Airlines, Etihad Airways, Gol Linhas Aéreas, KLM and Korean Airlines.
