The flag carrier’s promotion will be available until the weekend, as part of the “Hot Week”.
Buenos Aires, May 14th, 2018 – Aerolíneas Argentinas launched promotional prices during the “Hot Sale” with discounts of up to 30% off and 15 monthly interest free installments with major credit cards.
The promotions include prices ranging from ARS 21,999 for cities such as Rome or Madrid, ARS 19,999 for New York or ARS 8,000 for Río de Janeiro. In the case of domestic destinations, the prices include, without limitation, ARS 2,800 for Bariloche and ARS 2,000 for Iguazú (final price). Through this initiative, the company seeks to enhance the positive measures that, during the first four-month period, showed a 6% rise of carried passengers if compared to the same term in the previous year.
As well as the aforementioned destinations, the discounts also apply to tickets to Neuquén, Salta, Tucumán, Comodoro Rivadavia, Miami, Santiago de Chile, San Pablo, Cancún and Punta Cana, and the latter also has a flight departing from the city of Córdoba.
The “Hot Sale” is from today and up to Wednesday inclusive. However, Aerolíneas Argentinas will extend these discounts until Sunday, May 20.
“These promotions are fundamental for our industry because they entice passengers to fly and allow us to continue achieving our goals and fill up our planes,” expressed Dell’Acqua, president of Aerolíneas Group.
It is worth mentioning that 21% of the tickets sold by Aerolíneas corresponds to the promotional pricing segment. These prices dropped by a 17% between March 2016 and March 2017, and an additional 3% between March 2017 and March 2018, amounting to a 20% in aggregate during the last two years. This makes flying possible for more segments of society. At the same time, through further market segmentation, the company achieved higher revenues.
