Prohibited and Restricted Items in the Baggage

In this section, you will find all the information on restricted or prohibited items. However, if you have a connecting flight with another company, it is essential that you check the requirements of that airline and the rules and regulations of the local airport.
The final decision with respect to the acceptance of certain items through the airport registration points and checkpoints rests with the officers of the Airport Security Police or of another authorized entity.

Important:
If you are traveling with an electronic cigarette and/or battery-operated electronic devices, or if you are carrying loose or spare batteries, you must transport them on board in your carry-on baggage.

Passengers are informed that, to enter Brazil, it is forbidden to carry electronic cigarettes and any other vaping or electronic device used for smoking, including any accessories, pieces and chargers. This prohibition applies also to carry-on baggage and in  checked baggage.
