Additional Baggage

 

Anticipate and purchase your additional luggage online to save time. You can do it up to 4 hours before your flight departure.

You can also make the purchase through our customer service channels or at the airport on the day of the flight by paying the corresponding price according to the Excess Baggage table.

Important:

•  The maximum number of baggage allowed for purchase per passenger and flight is 4 additional and 4 special.
•  The purchase of additional baggage does not apply to special baggage, excess weight, or volume.
•  Only considered as additional baggage: a suitcase, bag, or backpack. Boxes, bags, or similar items are not considered as such.
•  You can purchase up to 4 pieces of Additional baggage: 1 (one) at the price for the 1st piece and 3 (three) at the price for additional pieces. Enter to see the charges to be applied per route and per leg.
•  You can purchase up to 4 pieces of Special baggage, all at the same price. Enter to see the charges to be applied per route and per leg.
•  In the case of award tickets issued with Aerolíneas Plus miles, you can purchase up to 4 (four) additional suitcases, all at the price of 'Additional pieces'.

•  Please note that all additional services are non-refundable. This service does not accumulate miles.
•  For tickets purchased in Brazil and Chile, you can make the advance purchase through our customer service channels or at the airport on the day of the flight, paying the corresponding price according to the Excess Baggage table.

The maximum weight for each Additional Luggage:

• For flights within Argentina: 15kg in both Economy Class and Premium Economy.
• For regional and international flights: 23kg in both Economy Class and Premium Economy, as well as Business Class (except for Bogotá, which is 20kg).

The values ​​expressed are final and include the tax of each country. 

 

Remarks:

1-Within Argentina and between Argentina and Chile, if it exceeds 23kgs, it must be cleared by Cargo.

2-Within South American routes, the following countries are included: Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

3- Within International, the countries of: Europe, the United States, Mexico, the Dominican Republic.

 

The amount is in EUR (euros) for flights originating in Europe and in USD (dollars) for flights originating in other destinations.
