July 24, 2020 – Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced today that it will be part of the annual “Hot Sale” which will take place on July 27, 28 and 29.

Through its website, the Argentine flag carrier will offer 12-month interest-free installments payment plans with all banks and credit cards, and an additional 20% discount if it is a domestic flight.

As regards domestic flights, round-trip tickets may be purchased for ARS 2670 (12 installments of ARS 220 each) to travel to Córdoba; for ARS 3300 (12 installments of ARS 275 each) to travel to Mendoza; for ARS 3980 (12 installments of 330 each) to travel to Iguazu; for ARS 4676 (12 installments of ARS 390 each) to travel to El Calafate or Ushuaia; and ARS 5011 (12 installments of USD 418 each) to travel to Salta, among other options.

As regards international flights, round-trip tickets may be purchased from ARS 19440 (12 installments of 1620 each) to travel to Rio de Janeiro; from ARS 55459 (12 installments of ARS 4622 each) to travel to Cancún; from ARS 58747 (12 installments of ARS 4896 each) to travel to Punta Cana; from ARS 71690 (12 installments of ARS 5974 each) to travel to Madrid; from ARS 81669 (12 installments of ARS 6806 each) to travel to Rome; and from ARS 67237 (12 installments of ARS 5603 each) to travel to Miami, among other options.

Additionally, with the purpose of giving passengers the possibility to reschedule their flights taking into account the dynamic scenario brought about by the world pandemic, the Company has announced this week the introduction of a new “super flexible” fare to allow passengers to change their tickets at no extra cost or charge to travel within the year of validity, in the same season (high or low) for which the ticket was issued and up to December 15, 2021. Such fare will be also available for purchases during the “Hot Sale” and for flights departing as from September 1.

“The Hot Sale encourages people to at least take a moment to plan their next holidays or trip. That is why our new fare complements well with our installment payment plans and discounts, since passengers can purchase their tickets in advance and, if necessary, reschedule their flights,” explained Fabián Lombardo, Commercial Director of Aerolíneas Argentinas.

The Company has informed that statistically speaking 73% of the tickets to be sold during the “Hot Sale” will be domestic tickets and that at least 50% of the tickets will be used to travel at a later date.

“Trips always lead us to a better future. As an airline, we are implementing a productive system that benefits from tourism and generates income and employment throughout the country,” said Fabián Lombardo, Commercial Director of Aerolíneas Argentinas.

The Hot Sale is an initiative proposed by the Argentine Board of E-Commerce organized for the seventh year in a row. The seventh edition will take place on Monday 27, Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 of July and over 700 companies and leading brands will be offering important discounts on thousands of products and services under the “Electronics & Technology”, “Travel”, “Furniture & Household Supplies”, “Clothing & Footwear”, “Sport & Fitness”, “Food & Beverage”, “Cosmetics & Beauty”, “Automotive”, “Babies, Kids & Miscellaneous” categories for any purchases made online.

SPECIAL OFFERS FOR FOREIGN TOURISTS

Without losing the focus on receptive tourism, Aerolíneas Argentinas will be also implementing sales initiatives abroad offering tickets at a 20% discount to those people wishing to visit Argentina between December 1, 2020 and March 30, 2021.

This special offer will allow passengers to combine destinations operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas within the country, and it will be valid during August in two stages: on the first fifteen days, it will be available for purchases made from the Americas and, on the remaining days, from Europe.

“Receptive tourism will have a key role in economic recovery since it will allow our country to receive much-needed income. Aerolíneas Argentinas involvement is essential for this to happen,” explained Pablo Ceriani, President of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
