Aerolíneas Argentinas adds 4 new special flights

July 10, 2020 – Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced four new special flights to Asunción, Santiago de Chile, São Paulo and Cancún.

The first of these flights will be departing to Asunción on July 15. A new flight to Santiago de Chile will depart on July 25 and another to São Paulo on the following day. These flights –which will be operated with an Embraer 190 aircraft with seating capacity for 97 passengers– are authorized to carry foreign residents to their respective home countries on their outbound segments, while inbound segments are for Argentine residents only.

Finally, on July 30, a flight will depart from Buenos Aires to Cancún, authorized to carry Mexican residents on its outbound segment, while its inbound segment is for Argentine residents only. This flight will be operated with an Airbus 330 aircraft with seating capacity for 270 passengers.

In all cases, passengers may purchase their tickets directly through the Company’s website without the need for prior registration through the Argentine consulates abroad.

It is important to highlight that a flight from Shanghai arrived today, and that flight AR1302 will be departing to Miami tomorrow night.

In the aggregate, Aerolíneas Argentinas has operated 120 special flights to 16 countries, which have allowed for almost 30,000 Argentine citizens to return home. Additionally, the Company has operated 34 flights to Shanghai, China, with the purpose of bringing medical supplies to fight the global pandemic.
