Bariloche: 18% more passengers during winter holiday

During the winter holidays, the city of Bariloche consolidated as the preferred winter destination of Aerolíneas Argentinas passengers.

August 11, 2018 -  Aerolíneas Argentinas announced an average increase of 18% in passengers carried to San Carlos de Bariloche during the winter holidays.

Similarly, this Patagonian city led the ranking of snow destinations, followed by Ushuaia, San Martín de los Andes and Esquel.

17% more passengers if compared to 2017 were carried in the route from and to Buenos Aires. Meanwhile, the Bariloche-Córdoba-Bariloche route showed a 2% growth with respect to the previous year. On the other hand, segments from and to Rosario and Bahía Blanca experienced a 36% and 143% growth, respectively.

During the winter operations, extending up to and including August 31, 9 daily flights from Monday through Friday and 12 daily flights on Saturdays and Sundays are operated in the route from and to Buenos Aires, which represents an 11% rise in seats offered if compared to the winter season of 2017. All of these flights are operated in Boeing 737 aircraft with capacity for 170 passengers.
During the same period, Bariloche operates one daily flight from and to Rosario.

On the other hand, the Córdoba-Bariloche route has 8 weekly flights, while the Bahía Blanca-Bariloche route, which operates between July and August, has 3 weekly flights.
