23/05/2018

Buenos Aires, May 23, 2018.- Aerolíneas Argentinas and the Institute for Financial Aid for the Payment of Military Retirement and Pension Schemes (IAF, for its Spanish acronym) signed an agreement that grants benefits to the retirees of said retirement fund for travelling to any destination in the country that is covered by the flag carrier.

In this way, more than 86,000 IAF’s retirees and pensioners will enjoy a 30% off the published prices for 37 domestic flights provided by Aerolíneas Argentinas.

This agreement is one of the many agreements that the company has already signed with ANSES, the Social Welfare Institute for the Province of Neuquén, the Social Welfare Institute for the Province of Buenos Aires, the Social Welfare and Insurance Institute for the Province of Chubut, the Retirement and Pension Fund for the Province of Santa Fe, the Coordinator of Retirement and Pension Funds for Professionals of the Argentine Republic, the Social Retirement and Pension Fund for the Province of Tierra del Fuego, the Retirement and Pension Fund for the Province of Córdoba, and the Social Welfare, Insurance and Loan Institute of the Province of Chaco.

The agreement was signed by the Institute for Financial Aid’s President, Fabián Rogel, and Aerolíneas Group’s Commercial Director, Máximo Amadeo.

At the time of the signature, Amadeo highlighted that: “These kinds of agreements are very important to us because they enable new travelers to choose flying as their means of transport.”

Fabián Rogel said: “We feel proud of the fact that this agreement with Aerolíneas Argentinas is the first of many agreements, discounts and new services that we want to offer to our beneficiaries.”

This services program aims at encouraging air traffic outside the high season or long weekends, since these customers have more flexibility to travel during any time of the year and on any day of the week. The discount is for flights on Mondays through Thursdays, and beneficiaries will be able to purchase a minimum of a two night and a maximum of 14 night stay, seven days in advance, at www.aerolineas.com.ar/es-ar/promo/IAF, by entering their Tax Identification Number (CUIL, for its Spanish acronym) so that the Fund may validate their data.

Not only does this agreement encourages and develops tourism within the national territory, but it also enables more retirees and pensioners to get to more touristic or recreational destinations through Aerolíneas Argentinas’ flights.
