Taking an earlier or a later flight

 

Have your plans changed? For your Elite Plus category of the Aerolíneas Plus Program, we offer you the possibility of managing, free of charge, the advancement or postponement of your flight operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas, on the same route and cabin of your original ticket.

 

Diamante category: Benefit on national and regional flights bordering Argentina (Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay).

Platino category: Benefit on domestic flights.

 

Exclusive benefit for the regular member, not transferable to third parties, whether or not they are companions on the reservation.

 

How to advance your flight?

You can advance your trip on any flight operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas with availability on the same route and cabin.

Applies both to paid tickets issued by Aerolíneas Argentinas (through its own channel or through a travel agency) and to tickets issued for the exchange of Miles.

Does not apply to codeshare or charter flights.

 

To manage it, we offer you four service channels

          You can request it between 24 hours before the departure of the original flight and up to 4 hours before the departure time of the flight on which you wish to travel.

          Example: If your original flight leaves at 3:00 p.m. and you want to advance it to travel at 1:00 p.m., you can request it from 3:00 p.m. the day before and until 9:00 a.m. on the day of travel.

 

Check-in counters at the airport

          You can request it between 24 hours before the departure of the original flight and up to 1:30 hours before the departure time of the flight on which you wish to travel.

          Example: If your original flight leaves at 3:00 p.m. and you want to advance it to travel at 1:00 p.m., you can request it until 11:30 a.m. on the day of travel.

 

 

How to postpone your flight?

You can postpone your trip on any flight operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas up to 12 hours after your original flight, with availability on the same route and cabin.

Applies both to paid tickets issued by Aerolíneas Argentinas (through its own channel or through a travel agency) and to tickets issued for the exchange of Miles.

Does not apply to codeshare or charter flights.

          You can request it between 24 hours and 4 hours before the departure of the original flight.

          Example: If your original flight leaves at 3:00 p.m. and you want to postpone it to travel at 6:00 p.m., you can request it from 3:00 p.m. the day before and until 11:00 a.m. on the day of travel.

 

 

 

Conditions

 

Aerolíneas Argentinas will offer as a benefit to members in the Diamante category of the Aerolíneas Plus Program the possibility to reschedule their original domestic flight and/or their flight to/from countries neighboring Argentina, on the same route and cabin as the original ticket, free of charge and without any re-issuance fees. Platino members will be offered this benefit only for domestic flights. 

This benefit is solely for account holders and is non-transferable to third parties, whether or not they are accompanying passengers on the reservation. 

The benefit will only be valid as long as there are seats available on the flight, on the same route and in the same cabin as those appearing in the original ticket.

It applies both to purchased tickets issued by Aerolíneas Argentinas (through its own channels or through a travel agency) and to tickets issued by redeeming Miles. 

The benefit may be used only once per booking.

To take an earlier flight, the Diamante or Platino account holder may request this service through the Contact Center (0810-222-86527), our WhatsApp number (+54 11 4940-4798), or our sales offices (between 24 hours prior to the departure of the original flight and up to 4 hours before the departure time of the flight on which the account holder wishes to travel), or by showing up at the airport check-in counters on the day of the originally purchased flight (between 24 hours prior to the departure of the original flight and up to 1 hour and 30 minutes before the departure time of the flight on which the account holder wishes to travel). At the airport, the account holder will be placed on a waiting list and if there are available seats on the same route and in the same cabin as the original ticket, the change of flight will be confirmed in the pre-boarding area. If there is no seat availability, the account holder will be able to keep his/her original flight.  

To take a later flight up to 12 hours after the original flight, the Diamante or Platino account holder may request this service through the Contact Center (0810-222-86527), our WhatsApp number (+54 11 4940-4798), or our sales offices (between 24 hours and 4 hours prior to the departure of the original flight).

 

Restrictions:

  • This benefit will not apply if the holder does not show up for his or her original flight without prior notice (no show).
  • Does not apply to route changes.
  • The conditions and baggage allowance of the original ticket will be respected.
  • Diamante Category: Tickets that contain connections with sections to Colombia, Peru, the Caribbean, the United States or Europe are not valid.
  • Platino Category: Tickets that contain connections with regional or international sections are not valid.
  • Special services are not transferable from one flight to another. The passenger must request it again according to its conditions.
  • Clients who present MEDIF and/or special services that require MEDIF are not transferable due to lack of time for confirmation.
  • The flight postponement benefit is not available at airports.
